Q1: Our first question, Bhagavan, has to do with the shifting landscape of our Oneness community and events. In the past, there have been a small number of blessing givers relative to a larger amount of blessing receivers. Now, Bhagavan, and even moreso after the new Colorado trainers return in February, our groups will likely consist of more blessing givers than receivers. How shall we respond to this, Bhagavan, and structure our events to take this fact into consideration? Shall we give the deekshas or conduct our groups differently given that the majority of participants will be Deeksha givers themselves? We understand that in 2012 a special Deeksha process will be given for the community to share with one another, but how shall we proceed from now until then?

A1: When we have a large number of Blessing Givers, we will be introducing new programs, and we could even hasten the 2012 process and we could race along. If such a thing happens… that’s the most wonderful thing that could ever happen. Let’s hope it will happen. We are ready and we’ve got to do all the programs and we’ll rapidly be training you for that. So let’s hope it will happen. So that is the answer to the first question.

Q2: Bhagavan, we see that 2012 is not a date on the calendar, but rather a phenomena in and of itself. Because it is a phenomena, it is something we can be in personal relationship with. How do we develop a personal relationship with this phenomena, Bhagavan, and make it a part of our lives in an experiential way? Many of us have a theoretical understanding of 2012, but wish for it to come alive in our bodies and in our hearts. How can we be in relationship with this phenomena, Bhagavan, in a way that allows us to more directly benefit others and humanity at this time? Also, Bhagavan, what is the relationship of the star Moolam with the phenomenon of both 2012 and Deeksha?

2012 is all about the descent of the Divine and the ascent of man. And the star Moolam represents this descent. Whenever we have this kind of alignment with the star Moolam, this kind of descent occurs. It’s like the seasons—we have winter season, summer, spring, autumn—similarly, this is a season where we have plenty of Divine grace, and it will last for a long long time. So the descent is going to start. Now, it should actually start sometime in the latter half of 2011- we do not have to wait until 2012. Most probably from June onwards, of 2011, we should be able to feel the descent. And so those who have been receiving the blessings, they should be better tuned to receive the descent. And receiving the descent means you will ascend into higher levels of consciousness.

The blessing is the tool which will make this possible. You’ll know the descent is happening. You’ll have to receive the blessing to get in touch with this. And the easiest way to do that is to cast the Divine in a human mode. Instead of simply saying, “the Divine,” “God,” this or that… for example Christians could cast the Divine as Jesus Christ; Buddhists could cast the Divine as the Buddha; do whatever you want to. But it would be good to have a human image. And also it must be cast in a relationship that you’re used to—like father, mother, brother, sister—that kind of relationship. And you must also start relating to it the way you relate to your actual father, not like there is somebody out there—the way you are relating to your father, your mother, your brother, your sister—that’s the way you’ve got to relate. When that happens, you and the divine come very very close, unimaginably close—then literally you can give the blessing and solve people’s problems. That is how you’ve got to help mankind.

We don’t have to worry much about it because as we get there it will actually be getting delivered to you—you will know it for yourself. A little guidance is enough as the descent begins to happen and you’re ascending, it’s like simply you’ll know how to do it. So let’s get focused on the blessing. And I think it could well happen earlier than we expect, if we have the kind of numbers you’re talking about, it could well happen even before the expected time. So that is the answer to the second question—we’ll move into the third question.

Q3: Bhagavan, what is the relationship between enlightenment—the perception of reality as it is—and the process of God Realization? Some of us have experienced this process of divine descent and would like some clarity around this. How can we be in relationship with the Divine Beings at this time to catalyze the awakening process and most align with the supportive energies of 2012? Exactly what is this process of divine descent, Bhagavan, and the related phenomena of God Realization-- and can you please help guide us through it.

I’ve already given part of the answer in the earlier question. Enlightenment and God-Realization are different. An enlightened person need not be God-realized and a God-realized person need not be enlightened. But there are people who are both enlightened and God-realized, like Ramana Maharishi-- a very classical case of being fully enlightened and also God-realized. But what we expect to happen in 2012 is that we feel that a lot of people will be both awakened as well as God-realized. That is what is most likely to happen. Because it is essentially a phenomena of the Divine, the Divine once again getting closer to man. They could have been very close a long time ago, and this will now happen—you could say it’s a return to paradise.

So the best way we could help the phenomena is, as I told you earlier, instead of using the word, “Divine, Divine”—it would be good if you could cast the Divine in some sort of known mode. Like in our center here in Nemam, there was a young boy who was trying to have a bath. And the water was very cold. And he was shouting, “God, God, make this water hot.” And nothing happened. And then he began to shout, “My father, make this water hot.” And instantly the water became hot. The moment he could relate to God as his father, things began to work. But when he was saying, “God, God,” nothing happened.

So the trick is relating to the Divine as if it is someone that you know. And you’ll find very soon, you’ll get responses from the other side. A lot of people have done this and I think if you start doing it now, I think it could happen in the next few months.

So that is the answer for the third question. So shall we now move into meditation?
